We had a lovely Easter market on the 30th of March. People came from all over and it was so much fun seeing everyone with festive cheer!
One of our exhibitors at the market, Annelie Mans, became an Irene Market exhibitor just more than a year ago and we love to see her products evolve. Annelie studied jewellery design and manufacturing. Although she used to teach, she currently keeps herself busy by creating beautiful designer jewellery. Her company is called Anchami.
When talking about her products, Annelie says she gets her inspiration from old, antique products, Pinterest and Etsy. She calls herself an “old soul” trying to reduce her carbon footprint. Her jewellery has a very unique African, Authentic and local touch to it.
She advises other entrepreneurs to keep their products trendy, African and Historic. The public should “feel” your product.” You should at least have a new product every three months”, says Annelie.
Annelie also exhibited at Kamersvol Geskenke 2012 and the public loved her products. She stocks a few stores country wide such as Die Skuur in Bethlehem, Mooinooi in Hoedspruit, Kingfisher in Pretoria East and a few more.
